Amazon Caribbean Guyana Ltd.

AMCAR was founded in 1987. From its humble beginnnings the company has grown into the first Guyanese exporter of certified organic produce meeting the strict International Food Standard (IFS). AMCAR now operates three factories and a warehouse in Guyana. It employs about 250 people on a regular basis, and is a major contributor to sustainable livelihoods in Guyana. All products that are produced by AMCAR are exported.
