Superior Shingles & Wood Products (SSWP) based in Guyana, South America is the manufacturer of Turada® Hardwood Shingles. The company’s modern shingle plant assures production that meets the highest standards of quality in the industry. This state-of-the-art facility has been in operation since 2001 and has the capacity to produce approximately 250,000 square feet of shingles per month. The production of Turada® Hardwood Shingles contributes to sustainable livelihoods in Guyana, as raw material (blocks) are purchased from a wide range of small and medium scale suppliers using environmentally-friendly logging methods. As long-standing members of the Guyana Manufacturers Association we have been the recipient of various awards over the years.
